You knew it was coming didn’t you?
My opinion

Kelly Hayes and Jacqueline Keeler Elizabeth Warren connected DNA and Native American heritage. Here’s why that’s destructive.
Although her intention was to push back against Trump, Warren has provided an unwitting assist to those attempting to take away tribal sovereignty.

In other words my brothers and sisters,
I hope that you did not also give up your right to vote in the state that is controlling your ‘Nation’?
You knew it was coming didn’t you?
My opinion
We no longer have tribes in

“Indian Country,” people west of the Mississippi

and/or

“Native American Country,” people east of the Mississippi!
What we do have are groups of people calling themselves (A Nation)!
Just another ‘Government nail’ in our ancestor’s coffins!
And
Yet another way for this government to ‘complete its assimilation of our people’!
Tribal sovereignty in the United States
Is the inherent authority of indigenous tribes to govern themselves within the borders of the United States of America?
The U.S. federal government recognizes tribal nations as “domestic dependent nations” and has established a number of laws attempting to clarify the relationship between the federal, state, and tribal governments.
“Domestic Dependent Nations”
In defining tribal sovereign powers, Justice Marshall described tribes as domestic dependent nations,” meaning that although tribes were “distinct independent political communities,” they remained subject to the paternalistic powers of the United States.
(Paternalistic Powers)
A policy or practice of treating or governing people in a fatherly manner, especially by providing for their needs without giving them rights or responsibilities
In other words my brothers and sisters, I hope that we did not also give up your right to vote in the state that is controlling your ‘Nation’?
