“Whales should not have to suffer or die for military practice”

Pierce Brosnan

As we have been saying for far too many years, “military practice (or better put, Tag you’re it)

like football, baseball, Soccer, car racing and so on, is only a game, no one or nothing should be allowed to be hurt or killed because of any game”!

Thank you Mr. Pierce Brosnan for your tireless dedication to our endangered Species on Mother Earth.

You are not only one of the better actors, film producer and environmentalist you are a proud Irishman!

Donna (walking with the alligators) and I have been begging for power at shaking some sense into the powers to be in my navy

and your never ending contribution might just help?

The U.S. Navy has new plans for testing and training exercises with sonar and explosives — and those plans spell disaster for whales.

If the Navy proceeds, more than 1,000 whales and other marine mammals could be killed over the next five years. There will be 5,000 cases of serious injury such as permanent hearing loss or lung damage, as well as tens of millions of incidents in which marine mammals are harassed or harmed.

I have no reason to doubt these alarming numbers. They come from the Navy itself.

Navy admits killing our Marine Mammals is wrong

Help Stop the Navy’s Attack on Whales!

The Navy is prepared to kill more than 1,000 whales and other marine mammals during the next five years of testing and training with dangerous sonar and explosives.

Tell Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel to direct the Navy to adopt common-sense safeguards right away that will protect marine mammals during routine training without sacrificing our national security!

US Navy seeks more cooperation with China in counter-piracy exercise

Win some lose some, looks like China is now working with the United States towards friendship and Russia is looking for a battle?

“Why can’t we all just get along?”

The late Rodney Glen King The Third, a hero from the civil rights movement the hard way?

Anyway, if we can keep the joint movements going over in the Mediterranean sea and the Persian Gulf maybe someday we can all become friends?

The navy is at it again? Because they can, again!

“The commission could sue to try to force the Navy to adopt the measures, as it has done in the past but unsuccessfully.”

One cannot sue the government, as wrong as this might be, the Navy Brass knows this while they are thumbing their nose at, we the people!

I am getting just a little tired of our United States Navy brutally beating up on poor defenseless creatures of the water and the land. Just because they can!

It is no longer necessary in today’s technology age to bomb, let alone bomb the coast of a free country, the USA, knowing full well that you are going to kill, maim and deafen fish and animals, remember that maimed and deaf fish and mammals will also die!

The testing of sonar is completely useless this close to shore, it should be tested in waters where it will be used, if it must be used at all?

Has anyone taken into consideration swimmers, boaters and surfing and if they will also be harmed while in the water?

“The Navy is expected to ramp up its sonar and underwater explosives training in the waters off Southern California and Hawaii beginning next year as the war in Afghanistan winds down and the military shifts its focus to the Pacific.

The commission, which examined the training plan for the period between 2014 and 2019, wants the Navy to create safety zones that would guarantee no high-intensity sonar activity near marine sanctuaries and protected areas, and in spots that experience a high seasonal concentration of blue, fin and gray whales.

The commission ruled in March that the Navy lacked enough information to back up its argument that the threat to marine mammals would be negligible.

The Navy has estimated 130 marine mammals could die and another 1,600 could suffer hearing loss during the training program, which plans annually for more than 50,000 underwater”

Residents seeking to build a memorial honoring the late

U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Brian Bill, a Connecticut neighbor, so to speak because Stamford is not far from Uncasvillage in the state.

Two years ago Today, Bill died along with 29 other Americans and eight Afghan commandos, when the Chinook helicopter they were in was shot down by a rocket-propelled grenade in Afghanistan.

“I don’t want to drag this out, but the biggest thing we are working on right now is the plan,” said Patrick Sasser, organizer for the Brian Bill Memorial Fund.

“This monument is really to honor Brian as a hometown hero, to honor those who died in this last decade of war.

We’ve honored veterans of the Korean War and Vietnam War and other conflicts, and it’s time we start doing that for our modern heroes, too.”

Somebody is going to get bombed again this week?

I mean besides all of the neighbors within five miles around the Pine Castle Complex!

Our navy is going to bomb those really bad people over at the Pine Castle Complex again today 08/05/2013.

We sure hope that they get them this time because our homes are starting to look like a war zone in peace time no less?

Live bombing exercises continue at Pine castle Range Complex today 08/05/2013.

The Navy will hold bomb training today at the Pine castle Bombing Range in Lake county Florida according to our TV Station.

Jesse Brown, the first African-American Navy aviator, crash-landed in what is now North Korea in December 1950.

This is an about time follow up of a much earlier posting, better late than never.

My prayer is for success in finding a hero and getting him home to his family before it is too late?

Veteran returns to North Korea for first black Navy aviator

U.S. hero pays respects in North Korea

By Paula Hancocks, CNN updated 11:07 PM EDT, Sun July 21, 2013

Jesse Brown, the first African-American Navy aviator, crash-landed in what is now North Korea in December 1950.

U.S. Navy Thomas Hudner who received the Medal of Honor for crash-landing his plane and trying to save Jesse Brown, his wingman, who went down behind enemy lines during the Korean War.

Two years after he made history by becoming the Navy’s first black pilot, Ensign Jesse Brown lay trapped in his downed fighter plane in subfreezing North Korea, his leg broken and bleeding.

His wingman crash-landed to try to save him, and even burned his hands trying to put out the flames.

He could not!

U.S. Navy Says Jettisoned Bombs Pose No Threat to Great Barrier Reef

Remember, this is the very same government that has said for hundreds of years now,

” Why of course we will honor every single treaty that we made with the Native Americans.”

If, as the government claims, those four bombs will never pose a threat to the reef, then why, while the navy is saying this are they digging up and exploding those bombs under and around this school in Florida?

The one that this government allow building over at one of their old bombing range?

Army Corps to search around school for more old bombs

June 15, 2010|By Mark Schlueb, Orlando Sentinel

Over the past three years, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has combed the grounds of Odyssey Middle School, searching out – and finding — unexploded bombs from the now-infamous Pinecastle Jeep bombing range, But until now, those experts haven’t been able to look in a critical area: beneath 22 portable classrooms, where students have continued to study.

From 2007 to 2013 and still on going?

Landing an unmanned jet plane in San Francisco?

Well we did it, the navy successfully launched and then landed an unmanned jet size drone on an aircraft carrier.

Unmanned jet lands aboard U.S. Navy carrier in historic first

So, how long will it be before we ok the use of computers for takeoff and landing at all airports?

There are now far too many flying crafts in the air 24/7 and in a blink of an eye, one person can end the lives of hundreds of people.

Whatever happened to the old way?

If the commanding officer messes up, he falls on his sword?

It would appear now that if you messes up, you make hundreds of people fall on your sword?

Yes, it is possible that a computer can make a mistake however, a computer is incapable of looking for ways to cover up, or tell a lie.

Remember human/computer chess matches.

The X-47B drone to land on ship today

U.S. navy to attempt 1st drone landing aboard aircraft carrier
Today the navy is to try to land a drone on the deck of a ship, in this case the USS George H.W. Bush.
Here’s to hoping that this is successful for a few reasons, one that I am now interested in would be because of the airplane accident in California.
It is not my place to judge, I only observe what the experts are now saying about this accident and hopefully with this new information from our navy, improvements in future landing and also takeoffs can be achieved? http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/07/07/usa-crash-asiana-idUSL2N0FC0F420130707

Build our ships in our country

US Navy Extends High Speed Catamaran Charter
I am in love with the idea of smaller, faster, less expensive and better equipment as with this navy ship.
I am also pleased that countries like Japan, Italy, the United Kingdom and Australia are our friends.
Do any of these countries outsource jobs to us?
I am however, extremely upset with this government and my navy for still outsourcing our ship building to other countries.
We have many shipbuilding companies in our country.
This navy (military) as with our congress must have undisclosed reasons for not wanting to help our unemployment, by returning business like shipbuilding back into this country?
Please, will someone explain the how or why this government allowed a company like General dynamics, a company who’s existence depends on our military to survive, to move out of country and then steal our great shipbuilding jobs?
Austal/General Dynamics is an Australian company.
Congress, the military and our president must start to put (our) money where their mouth is.
It is not enough to go around looking for votes by telling this country that they want to bring our jobs back to our companies, they must start now to help get our jobs back to our country and do so NOW!
If our companies charge too much, shun them and use or help build a better company, do not outsource our jobs anymore?
This company, Austal/General Dynamics, as well as many others, have been doing this for far too long.
Voters please help to stop this trend now?
