“OPERATIVE,” word for today is “TEAM”

Pick a ‘Sports Team’, any team!

Remembering that the

Orlando City Soccer Fires Their Head Coach!

“Fire the owners!”

Head coach Adrian Heath goes

as did

Stan Van Gundy.

Stanley Alan “Stan” Van Gundy is an American professional basketball coach, currently serving as the head coach and president of basketball operations of the National Basketball Association’s Detroit Pistons.

Remember, the Magic fired him to please

The selfish wannabe player that followed in the foot steps

of the other selfish, greedy, over- weight, player,

‘The Shack’ that did the very same thing!

Pick a ‘Sports Team’, any team!

Remembering that the

“OPERATIVE,” word is “TEAM”

You pick the team and I will pick the years when your team was new!

Ask any coach or any ‘died in the wool Fan’ and they will tell you that the hardest thing for any team to do

is to get use to working with their

“TEAM-MATES!” This takes time.

The City of Orlando has not learned this basic formula for success!

Even the ‘Sissy sport’ of baseball,

where rich cities like New York, Boston, Baltimore and L.A,

pay millions of dollars for a player to hit a ball,

takes time to win

a pennant let alone World Series!

The team owners of Orlando Florida like the Lions Soccer

buy and trade players too often

They also buy players and must hand the player back to his old team if that team makes the play-offs.

and then blame the coach,

because their team does not win every game?

Head coach Adrian Heath is one of the best coaches in all of ‘World Football’ (Soccer) however, even he needs a team to work with.

Orlando City Soccer Fires Their Head Coach!

Orlando City has fired their head coach Adrian Heath. This came after losing 4-o to Dallas on July 4th. The Lions sit in an embarrassing 7th place in the Eastern conference. Assistant head coach Mark Watson has left the club as well.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that Heath has been with the club since the very beginning, coaching the Austin Aztex in 2008 and moving with the organization to Orlando in 2011. He led the Lions to two USL championships and three regular-season USL titles. He also was instrumental in helping the club make the leap to MLS last season, shattering attendance records along the way.

The club has not yet named a replacement.

ORLANDO – Orlando City SC has fired head coach Adrian Heath.

Heath had been with the club since it was a USL team in Austin Texas starting in 2008. He relocated with the club to Orlando in 2011 and led the team to a pair of USL titles, but has struggled handling the team since it joined Major League Soccer last year. In a season and a half, the club compiled a 16-18-16 record.

The team is currently 4-4-8, 20 points in seventh place in the Eastern Conference. Heath’s dismissal comes in a week during which the team suffered a pair of embarrassing losses, first to the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, then 4-0 to FC Dallas.

“It is always a very difficult decision to part ways with a head coach and not one that the Board of Directors has taken lightly. It is even more difficult when that coach has been instrumental in the growth of the Club since its inception over eight years ago. Adrian has served this Club with passion and enthusiasm,” said Orlando City SC Founder & President Phil Rawlins. “While our successes together are undoubtable, we believe the renewed energy this change will bring will be uplifting for the team. We feel that the time has come for us to move on with our future in MLS. We continue to remain very excited about the growth of our Club.

“This is a very difficult moment, but I fully support the decision made by the Board. I want to thank Adrian for the commitment and hard work he has given our team over the years and wish him success in his career,” said Club Majority Owner Flavio Augusto da Silva. “Now, it’s time for us to turn our focus onto the rest of the season. We will do everything in our power to continue improving and giving our fans the best of us because they have been fantastic supporters.”

Assistant Head Coach Mark Watson also has left the club. While the Club conducts a comprehensive search for a new head coach, the team will be led by Assistant Coach Bobby Murphy and Orlando City B Assistant Coach Anthony Pulis.
