Family finds offensive message on local Marine’s car

First, to this wonderful family,

“Thank-you for your service to our country, neighbors!”

To my brothers in arms (Father & Son), I feel your pain.

A military family’s (Marine family) son has joined the military,

the

(Marine’s)

to help protect the right of this little coward, punk,

(Dirt-Bags)

right to write this disgusting, filthy, rag of a note left of the son’s car!

I wonder if this ‘poor excuse of a human being will feel

something, anything if, God Forbid,

the son does die while protecting this right to write the note?

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office posted about the note on its Facebook page.

“We can’t undo the message, and we almost hate to share it, but we decided we could use it as an opportunity to say thank you,” deputies said. “To this man in Deltona, to anyone who’s served or is serving our country, and to all the families who sacrifice precious months and years with a loved one: THANK YOU and your son, daughter, husband, wife, relative or friend for what you’ve given us.” A man from Deltona has a sticker on his car that reads: “My Son is a Marine.” When he came out from shopping at Wal-Mart today, he found this note on his window. It made him cry. He called us to report it.

  1. I to would like to say thank you and your family. I am a veteran of the Vietnam war and I know how it feels when some one shows you disrespect. For someone to stoop so low as to leave this kind of message has no right to even be called an American.
Again thank you with my deep respect to you.
