Deputies asking for public’s help in locating missing man

Man walked out of assisted living facility

Ocklawaha, Fla. – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who walked out from an assisted living facility.

Deputies said that William Edgar Arrant, Jr., 55,  was last seen walking away from Solita’s Comfort Assisted Living Facility in Ocklawaha on Friday afternoon.

Arrant is not under a court order to be at the facility and is free to leave if he wished; however, Arrant; suffers from mental health and other issues and is in need of his medication, deputies said.

Staff from the facility said that Arrant was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and gray sweatpants.
