Welcome to the writer from Seoul Korea
I am so sorry for not getting back to you earlier, I see that you have been here 5 times?
I have been real busy with a family problem that I am now plesed to say is much improved.
I believe from my translator that you are looking for the name Uncas (Unkas)?
the name of the Unkas (Ung-Kass) as Uncas.
A simple reason as to why I write both is because, for the past 20 or so years many people from an ” amateur” to “professional” are writing the English bastardization of our first leader as Uncas?
It is pronounced as you have written Ung-Kass for Unkas, which roughly means in English “Spirit Fox” because of the many times that his enemies have tried to kill him and never succeeding.
Our first leader passed (Crossed over) at the ripe old age of 83.
