Disrespect to our Flag

An ad on!

The vote to ban the displaying of the American flag was vetoed.

The fact is that the University of California is paid for with taxpayer dollars and not private donors. The flag should be flown at all public buildings. Therefore, it should be displayed at UC-Irvine’s Student Senate, too. Period.

No misguided student(s) has/have the right to change this. If they do not wish to display the flag at a public-funded university, then these individuals need to seek an education at a private university, where they can get away with nonsense like that more frequently — sometimes

Disrespect to our Flag

University of California Irvine Student Senate recommending that the flag not be allowed to be flown.

Thank-you to one of my long time follower for your information about the flag of the United States of America.

You are correct in that one should not just burn the flag without the knowledge of why.

The best way for a ‘True Patriotic American Citizen’ is to get it to one of our American Legion or any of the retired military lodges for them to handle.

Walking on our flag is disrespectful however, the constitution of our country does give one the right to protest and people do so in many ways some that curdles my blood as I see so does your.

Not allowing the flag to be flown any place in this country is the strongest type of disrespect of all!

Students at UC Irvine implemented a ban on the American flag.

As you can now see, even University students have the right to be wrong!

The only real reason to fly our flag, the flag of the United States of America would show your respect of our loved ones now serving, have served, gave their lives, wounded both physical and mentally, young and old, so that you can have the right to not fly our flag!

Thanks to our military this is a free country so if a student group does not want to fly the flag in their lobby, might I suggest that they shut their months, close their pens and just do not fly our flag in their lobby?

  1. Why can’t we just ban their right to speak freely about this? They have the RIGHT to fly our flag, but are not FORCED to do so. And no one is FORCING them to speak publicly about it, so I would say they just want publicity for their idiotic ideas, and the people who decided to give them the publicity they seek are just as dumb as the students, who should be studying for their exams, rather than sitting around trying to come up with “radical” ideas for embarrassing their families.
